What Are You Doing For Others?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: ‘What are you doing for others?’”

There are so many wonderful organizations out there committed to helping others. In the past year, Sand Springs Country Club has been honored to be a part of different parties, meetings, golf tournaments, and fundraisers for many of those organizations.

Whether you are a part of a large group or are doing something on your own, you can make a difference. One of the biggest ways we have seen this is through golf tournaments at Sand Springs.

Golf tournaments are a great way to have fun and support a good cause. Groups like the “Helping Hands Society” of Hazleton, the “Tri State Basset Hound Rescue”, and the “Gift of Life Donor Organization” all have golf tournaments each year at Sand Springs to raise money (and awareness) in order to help others.

Here’s what different organizations are saying about their experience:

“Because of all your hard work and effort, our Gift of Life Inaugural Golf Tournament was a success.” -The Penkala Family

“The Mountain Top Kiwanis Club thank you and everyone at Sand Springs for helping us put on the most successful tournament we’ve had in years.”  -Bruce Spencer with the Mountain Top Kiwanis

“On behalf of the McGlynn Learning Center, I would like to thank the staff of Sand Springs Golf Course for helping to make our tournament a huge success.” -Todd J. Materna (McGlynn Learning Center Chairman)

There are so many ways each and every one of us can help others. Sand Springs Country Club in blessed to be a part of golf tournaments, fundraisers, meetings, and events for so many wonderful organizations that continuously do all they can to help others.
